By accessing or using ScoreMyHire ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ScoreMyHire is an AI-powered hiring tool that generates structured interview scorecards from job descriptions. The Service provides behavioral interview questions, ideal answer keys, and grading rubrics to assist hiring managers and recruiting professionals in conducting structured, consistent interviews.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Not share your account credentials with any third party
  • Not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

ScoreMyHire offers both free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our Pricing page.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
  • Downgrading your plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Free tier users are limited to one (1) scorecard per month

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics
  • Generate interview questions that are illegal, harassing, or discriminatory
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate hiring and recruiting activities

6. AI-Generated Content

The scorecards, questions, and rubrics generated by ScoreMyHire are produced by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies and should be reviewed by qualified hiring professionals before use. ScoreMyHire does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any generated content for your specific hiring needs. You are solely responsible for all hiring decisions made using the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ScoreMyHire and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any job descriptions or content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant ScoreMyHire a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SCOREMYHIRE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SCOREMYHIRE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF SCOREMYHIRE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL SCOREMYHIRE'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SCOREMYHIRE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the integrity of the Service. 12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.
